Thermica’s SLV cementitious spray applied, passive fire protection material, is a factory controlled premix, designed for cost effective, fast application, easy to install durable fire protection.

Providing a number of key benefits to both the contractor and the fire protection contractor, Thermica embarked upon an extensive program of testing to ensure full compliance with all national and international standards.

Both Thermica’s SLV external grade and SLV internal grade can be spray applied and then lightly troweled to close down the face, providing a flat level substrate in which a top coat paint system can be applied, to provide decorative surface.

All of Thermica’s products are manufactured under strict ISO 9001 conditions to provide both quality of product and peace of mind enabling full traceability from raw material to finished product.

In addition to Thermica’s SLV, we also produce a spray applied mineral wool product.
SLMW (Sprayed Limpet Mineral Wool) can be applied in instances where both passive fire protection and thermal insulation is required.
SLMW will also enhance the acoustic properties when applied to concrete.
