XPS type Styrisol

Thermal Insulation from extruded polystyrene. The ideal insulation for cavity walls, floors, flat roofs, attics, walls and coolingstores. The rigid Styrisol boards in extruded polystyrene have a very good resistance against humidity, show little signs of ageing, do not get rotten and are resistant against rodents. Furthermore they are self extinguishing and completely recyclable. 

Surface finishings:

  • Smooth
  • Rough
  • Waffled
  • Grooved (fine or thick)

Precautions:

  • STYRISOL-boards should not be exposed for a long time to direct sunbeams, since the UV could cause a negative effect on the surface of the boards. Boards should not be applied in places where the temperatures can exceed 70 degrees centigrade nor under transparent PE or PVC films.I
  • In applications during cold weather, dilatation-joints should be forseen according to th length of the boards: in these cases the technical specifications should be consulted.
