Rigid polyurethane blockfoams are manufactured on a continuous productionline by mixing two main components:
a polyol and an isocyanat, strictly guaranteed without the use of any CFC or HCFC.
Block foams coming straight out the production line are not squared.
You can order them in this way or squared if you prefer.
The maximum length of block foam is 4 meter. PUR blocks can be produced in a width range of 1 m to 1,25 m,
standard is 1,25 m.
According to the formulation, polyurethane blockfoam is available in densities from 32 kg/m3 up to 200 kg/m3
to satisfy your requirements.
The fire behaviour of the blockfoam can be modified in order to satisfy the requirements of different fire safety classifications (M4, B3, B2 or M1).
Upon specific request, we can also manufacture PIR foam. This type of foam offers special physical parametres: it is less friable, more flexible on top of its generally better fire behavior.
Polyurethane is one of the best performing products in matters of creating a thermal barrier and offers by far superior insulation values against different other types of thermal insulation materials.
Blocs can be processed easily with a saw, a blade and sandpaper for all kinds of applications such as complex shapes, shells and modelling. They are also used for decoration and recreation purposes.
Polyurethane is the most performant insulation material.
