Possible way of working:

pour vermiculite in a box or crate, place the object (solid or liquid content) in the box and fill out the remaining space with vermiculite. Make sure the box or crate is duly closed, otherwise use an innerliner in PE or PP to retain the granulate.

LIQUIDS
In case the contents of a parcel are liquid and during transport an incident arises, the vermiculite will absorb the spilled liquid. Any remaining quantity staying behind in the recipient will be unharmed due to the fact that the vermiculite granules are chemically neutral.

FRAGILE GOODS
Breakable objects are very well protected by vermiculite , all shocks during road- air- & maritime transport are perfectly absorbed.

Vermiculite is the only approved filler substrate in packaging material for chemicals in airfreight.
