NESTAAN SLV are passive fire protection materials based on mineral wool or cement, sprayable, specially designed to be applied indoors and outdoors during the first phase of a construction project.

Petrochemicals

NESTAAN's passive fire protection products used in the petrochemical sector have successfully undergone extensive testing programmes, including EN, BS, and UL, as well as the extremely severe Jetfire test from HSE. Furthermore, our products have successfully passed salt, fog, and freeze-thaw exposure tests.

NESTAAN's passive fire protection products, based on cement or mineral wool, are generally used in the industry in production environments. The spray-applied mortar or self-levelling finish provides a thermal barrier between hot surfaces and the environment in industrial facilities, ensuring optimal protection in the event of a fire.

Public infrastructure

In the public infrastructure sector, NESTAAN's products are primarily applied to steel and concrete in public tunnels. NESTAAN's passive fire protection materials have been extensively tested and meet the requirements of the RWS standard, meaning our products provide optimal protection in fires where temperatures reach 1350°C.

Private and public car parks

Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly common, driven by the transition to more sustainable mobility. However, fires involving this type of vehicle remain particularly difficult to control and can last a very long time.

This is where Nestaan comes into play: our SLV sprayed mortars insulate the structure of car parks against rapid temperature rises, limit the spread of the fire, and ensure the time needed for evacuation and emergency intervention.
