VermiPrime©: vermiculite for horticulture

Vermiculite is a mineral that, due to its unique properties, is mainly used as a dusting agent for seeds and mineral cultivation substrate. It has high moisture retention, contributes to seed germination and provides root stimulation.

Product features of VermiPrime©

  • VermiPrime is an inorganic, environmentally friendly low volume weight product. It is Ph-neutral and has a high cation exchange capacity.

  • VermiPrime is exfoliated at high temperature, making it sterile, free of germs and perfect for horticulture.

  • According to AB-label Executive Regulation (EU)2021/1165, vermiculite may be used in organic farming, including AB-labelled products.

  • Bulbous plants such as daffodils, lilies and amaryllis store best in VermiPrime and can reproduce optimally in it.

  • VermiPrime © is used by potting soil manufacturers as an additive for potting, cutting and sowing soil.

Perlite

Perlite is an eco-friendly product composed of perlite, a volcanic rock used in various industries for its light weight, thermal insulation properties and ability to retain water.

Perlite is mixed into potting soil, but is also suitable as a substrate for hydroponics and growing systems. In potting soil, it ensures a healthy balance between water and air, and optimises the structure of the soil.

Perlite is RHP-certified and boasts FIBL quality.
